Description
The Leidos Intelligence Group has an exciting opportunity in Reston, VA and Washington, DC metro area. TheAutomation Engineer
will be part of an elite team of IT professionals to helping maintain and secure the enterprise environment for the Intelligence customer.
Primary Responsibilities
May lead or provide guidance to small teams that integrate systems and automate common processes and procedures
Designs and implements integrations/orchestrations of environments using Ansible, Python, Terraform, Azure Cloud Automation, and other automation tools
Designs and integrates network and other monitoring tools with ServiceNow or other ITSM suites
Designs and develops end-to-end CI/CD and testing workflows to exercise system, integration, and pre-production validations
Develops and peer-reviews unit test automation code to verify functionality per requirements
Documents or reviews documentation of operational procedures
Provides technical supports for existing automation routines, troubleshooting, and error correction
Recognize, justify, and make continuous improvement opportunities for automation
Basic Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen
Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required
DOD 8570 IAT II compliance certification, Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer (CTAL-TAE)
Seasoned technical contributor
Works independently with limited supervision
May manage projects / processes
Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex
Influences others regarding system design, solutions, and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Desired Education:
High School/GED + 11 Yrs, or Associates + 9 Yrs, or Bachelors + 7 Yrs, or Masters + 5 Yrs, or PhD + 3 Yrs
Experience or exposure supporting Intelligence Community programs

Pay Range:
Pay Range $97, $176,250.00
