    Emergency Vehicle Repair Technician Opportunity Summary:


    As an Emergency Vehicle Technician, you are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and diagnosing both routine maintenance and emergency services on various makes and models of fire apparatus, ambulances, and rescue vehicles while making repair recommendations to customers.


    Job Duties:
    Perform quality repairs and maintenance on Emergency Vehicles as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures
    Accurately complete all required paperwork (e.g., repair information on work orders, information for state and emission inspections) promptly.
    Diagnose failure of vehicles by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts
    Dedication and adherence to all Company and industry safety standards
    Inspecting vital parts to ensure they are in proper operating conditions
    Create a job repair plan based on diagnosis.


    Work Experience & Qualifications:
    4+ Years of repair and maintenance experience with fire apparatus and ambulances.

    Strong working knowledge of multiple systems (brakes, suspension, steering, ABS systems), fire apparatus vehicular systems (pumps and aerial equipment), multiplex systems (hydraulics), diagnostics, and troubling shooting.

    EVT certifications
    Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
