- Performs a range of experiments and data analyses under the direction of multiple PI.
- May be required to perform experiments during certain weekends or after hours (depending on the need of experiment).
- In vivo and in vitro electrophysiology (preferred)
- Animal handling (surgical skills preferred)
- Microscopy skills (Calcium imaging data a plus)
- Acquisition and processing of voltage signal and/or calcium imaging data from cells.
- Maintains organized and detailed handwritten and computerized records of work performed.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills conducive to working in a team.
- Statistical knowledge
- Programming skills (a plus)
- A team player
- Good laboratory etiquette
- Ability to present data during lab meetings and conferences.
- Adhere to research compliance rules and regulations.
- Post Graduate Degree in the field of Neuroscience or Cognitive Science with some experience working with small animals (Desired)
- At least one year of relevant experience.
