    About the Role

As we journey into the future, Growth Engineering stands as our compass, offering a blend of software engineering, data analysis, and growth strategies to supercharge our user experience and engagement. As our Senior Growth Engineer, you'll be stationed at the crossroads of software engineering, data science, marketing, and product management. Your primary mission is to craft, deploy, and critically evaluate data-driven strategies that usher in growth from user acquisition to onboarding and conversion.

    Your Day to Day

    • Harness telemetry and instrumentation with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) like Segment and Heap to gain intricate insights into user behaviors and preferences.
    • Spearhead and actualize experimentation strategies using tools such as LaunchDarkly. Our growth teams prioritize rapid, quality-driven delivery, leveraging setbacks as foundations for future success.
    • Demonstrate expertise in feature flagging, ensuring smooth roll-out of new attributes with the capability for swift reversals if needed.
    • Dive deep into key growth metrics, accentuating onboarding, activation, and conversion stages.
    • Collaborate with vibrant, cross-functional growth teams, drawing together engineers, designers, and product managers, to bring about product enhancements rooted in empirical insights.
    • While prowess in front-end growth engineering is paramount, we cherish a comprehensive engineering background. Beyond steering growth, your skills might be helpful to enrich other frontend segments of our application.
    • Staying alert of the latest waves in growth engineering, ensuring Labelbox is always riding the crest.

    About You

    • 6+ years of web application development prowess, with pronounced expertise in frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, ) and backend systems (e.g., Typescript, , MySQL).
    • Growth mindset—a relentless curiosity to learn, adapt, and innovate. You'll be agile in your approach, not fearing failures but seeing them as a path to success. You're not just focused on the short-term goals but envisioning the big picture, always looking for avenues to learn, iterate, and grow.
    • Well-versed with telemetry and instrumentation tools, particularly Segment, Heap, and LaunchDarkly.
    • Adept at using experimentation tools like LaunchDarkly and thoroughly acquainted with feature flagging.
    • Profound understanding of critical growth metrics and tactics, emphasizing onboarding, activation, and conversion.
    • Skilled in A/B testing, data analysis (utilizing tools like SQL), KPI tracking, and a strong grasp of marketing tools.
    • Exceptional problem-solving flair, equipped to work solo or synergistically within diverse teams.
    • Outstanding communication skills, fostering seamless collaboration across Labelbox spheres.

    Labelbox strives to ensure pay parity across the organization and discuss compensation transparently.Theexpected annual base salary range for United States-based candidatesis $170,000 - $215,000. This range is not inclusive of any potential equity packages or additional benefits. Exact compensation varies based on a variety of factors, including skills and competencies, experience, and geographical location.

We encourage asynchronous communication, autonomy, and ownership of your tasks, with the added convenience of hub-based gatherings.
