    Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Field Support Representative in Norfolk Virginia
    The Tomahawk Land-Attack Missile has been in service since the late 1970s and has played a crucial role in the first strike capabilities of both the United States and British Royal Navy
    Over the years, the Tomahawk has undergone continuous enhancements and remains the preferred weapon system for initiating first strikes
    With the recent introduction of the Block V missile, it has been adopted by new users such as the United States Army, Marine Corps, and various foreign militaries
    As a result, the Tomahawk is expected to remain in active service until the 2050s
    The Tomahawk Mission Planning System (TPS) is the intelligence behind the Tomahawk system's mission execution
    TPS establishes the complex missile routing from its First Preplanned Way Point to the target of interest
    Therefore, TPS software development is recognized as the mission-critical element of the Tomahawk Weapons System
    In this role, you will be working with a small, inclusive, and diverse team of less than 50 personnel supporting our US Navy customer
    As the Field Service Representative, you will be the forward-looking user interface supporting the Tomahawk TPS System
    You will serve as the frontline interface for Tomahawk mission planning, collaborating closely with customers to resolve problems and support TPS operations for our warfighters
    The successful candidate will provide day-to-day support of the Tomahawk Mission Planning Center (TMPC) System
    Field Service Representatives (FSRs) are responsible for keeping the hardware and application TPS software operational daily, ensuring that mission planners are capable of planning missions at any time

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Perform a broad range of system and application support assignments for the Tomahawk Mission Planning Center (TMPC).
    • Serve as the primary customer interface with CMSA's Mission Planners.
    • Support Tomahawk Mission Planning (TMP) by addressing TMPC Information Assurance/Cybersecurity compliance, providing Information Technology (IT) support, assisting operational planners with troubleshooting problems, ensuring the TMP system runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis, and occasionally providing phone support.
    • Regularly update the cybersecurity posture on a monthly and quarterly basis.
    • Support system installations and resolve problems at the site.
    • Possess familiarity with software and hardware problem resolution techniques.
    • Coordinate with other Tapestry FSRs at US and UK Navy CMSA sites.
    • Collaborate with Tapestry St Louis engineers for problem resolution.
    • Effective coordination and communication skills are crucial in this assignment
    This position is expected to be 100% onsite
    The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Norfolk Virginia at Cruise Missile Support Activity Pacific (CMSA LANT)

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • 3+ years of experience using & supporting IT systems and applications
    • 3+ years of experience with information assurance/cybersecurity requirements
    • Must hold an active DOD TS/SCI and have the ability to obtain security certifications such as Security+ or equivalent IAT Level 2 certifications per DoD Instruction prior to start
    Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to support customers domestically and internationally Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):


    • 1+ years of experience with Windows 11 operating system
    • 1+ years of SQL Database Administration
    • 1+ years of experience executing DoD STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides) for operating systems (Windows 11, Windows Server 2019, Redhat Linux 9)
    • 2+ years of experience with mission planning Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g
    Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g
    Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)
