Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly organized and analytical individual to fill the role of Inventory/Procurement Analyst at CityVet. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our inventory levels, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring the availability of essential supplies. Strong Excel skills are a must, and experience in the veterinary medicine industry is considered a significant advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
· Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet clinic demands.
· Ensure PIMS system pricing is updated and accurate across all systems consistent with our vendor agreements.
· Conduct regular inventory and PIMs system audits to ensure data accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
· Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize errors and improve accuracy
· Assist locations with monthly and quarterly inventory counts and procedures
· Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze large sets of data and generate meaningful reports.
· Collaborate with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements.
· Provide insights into inventory turnover, cost trends, and procurement efficiency.
· Present findings to the management team and recommend data-driven improvements.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams and resolve inventory-related issues
· Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and reliable deliveries.
· Leverage industry experience to understand specific needs and challenges in the veterinary medicine sector.
· Stay updated on advancements and changes in veterinary products and equipment.
· Analyze procurement trends and recommend strategies to streamline processes.
· Stay informed about industry developments to identify new suppliers and products.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements/efficiencies

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Experience in inventory management and procurement is a plus
· Experience in the veterinary medicine industry is a plus.
