Perform general cleaning and minor maintenance functions for municipal buildings and grounds. Provide assistance to officials and visitors as needed.The job involves performing custodial cleaning functions; cleans offices, windows doors stairwells hallways restroom facilities maintains supplies in restrooms collects empties trash recyclables sweeps mops vacuums strips polishes floors carpets performs grounds maintenance functions plows sands sidewalks parking lots mows lawns trims trees bushes provides backup assistance personnel visitors dispatches duties prepares receives reports documents performs general maintenace minor repair functions replaces light bulbs filters installs paper dispensers in restrooms moves desks chairs furniture sets up meeting rooms sets security alarms checks operation heating cooling systems reports problems with operation heating cooling systems receives unloads inspects distributes deliveries perfroms other related function assigned required.
