    Description

    This Individual contributor is responsible for the more complex activities associated with maintaining stock ledger and inventory operations relating to the digital business.

    Provide functional advice and/or training to less experienced accountants. Partner with the Distribution Center management team to identify inventory process gaps/opportunities and solutions.

    • Partner with the Distribution Center and various cross-functional stakeholders to identify inventory issues and provide potential solutions, test plans, and validation options
    • Monthly forecasting, reporting and analysis related to inventory related margin accounts
    • Develop presentation materials for executive leadership
    • Identify areas of opportunity and recommend solutions for achieving optimal efficiency in Finance
    • Coordinate and review the documentation and validation to ensure we have functioning internal controls
    • Perform financial and operational analysis to help influence decision making.
    • Provide functional advice and training to less experienced accountants
    • Autonomously lead more complex and less defined Inventory Control and other finance related projects to drive results
    • Expertise and knowledge of the multiple integrated systems (Warehouse Management, Stock Ledger, Order Management, General Ledger, MP&A, and Website functionality) and understanding of how changes within the business can impact the systems
    • Support special projects, including new technology releases and enhancements including initiatives to support brand expansion
    • Review and provide support for journal entries and account reconciliations
    • Prepare various adhoc inventory related reports for partners across the Enterprise

    Qualifications

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
    • Innovator who desires to improve methods and processes
    • Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
    • Ability to establish and maintain positive cross-functional partnerships and influence others
    • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance,
    • Inventory management experience a plus
    • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or CPA Candidate a plus or equivalent experience
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
    • SQL proficiency a plus
