    Your Role:


    The Director FP&A will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis, presentations to major JV, lender and strategic partners, preparation of board materials, G&A budgeting and tracking and other ad hoc and strategic analysis.

    This position will reside in our Plano office and reports to the Sr. Director of FP&A in Chicago, and will support the SVP of FP&A and property management functions in Plano.
    What will you be doing?
    Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages; preparation of major presentations such as JV committee meetings, lender reviews, board materials
    Review operational processes and performance to improve results or identify cost saving opportunities.
    Interface with operations partners connecting operational metrics and financial results

    Forecast and analyze performance on multiple facets of business including general & administrative expenses and operational results through development of budgets and models.

    Particular focus on vendor expense, property management and tech spending
    Lead discussions with senior management on performance and results through competitor analysis and understanding of market trends.
    Participate in discussions on strategic and operational initiatives as necessary.
    Assessment of potential investment or changes to the business
    Other tasks and duties as assigned.
    Manage one or more FP&A analysts
    *Applicants holding a real estate license will need to have their license assigned to one of the company's brokerages after 30 days of employment.

    What we look for:

    Qualifications:
    Investment banking experience
    Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred.
    CPA designation is preferred.
    5-7 years of experience preferred.
    Strong quantitative, financial modeling and data abilities (SQL, PowerBI knowledge a Plus). Understanding of cash flow modeling a plus. Knowledge of FP&A tools a plus.
    Ability to manage and motivate FP&A analysts in fast moving environment
    Public accounting experience, and/or real estate industry experience a plus.
    Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
