Our client,

a leading global hospitality enterprise,

is actively looking for an

AWS QuickSight/Reporting Engineer

to join their team

This role is 100% remote however candidates should be comfortable working PST/MST hours on occasion.


This is a 6 month contract to hire position

Responsibilities
Responsible for the design and delivery of reports and insights (in AWS QuickSight) for performance metrics to support various business units across the organization
Improve Data Lake adoption by developing and maintaining reusable data models that align with business rules
Streamline processes to extract, transform, and load data into the Data Lake
Identify and deploy techniques to improve and monitor data integrity
Contribute to team effort by participating in Agile Kanban teams and deliver results for assigned IT projects, enhancements, and support tasks

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
3+ years of experience with report writing in AWS QuickSight preferred, experience with Tableau or PowerBI would be acceptable too
3+ years of SQL skills with the ability to perform querying involving multiple tables and subqueries
3+ years of experience working with and creating datasets and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions
3+ years of experience working with databases and ETL technologies; preferably with AWS Redshift, AWS Glue, and Python
Experience working in hospitality or hotel operations is a plus
