Conception and implementation of new applications in the context of digitalization of infrastructures

Further development of applications to support planning processes in the GIS environment

Cross-thematic use of expertise in the fields of telecommunications, transport and energy


Your profile:
In-depth programming knowledge in at least one of the following languages:
PL/pgSQL, Python, Java / JavaEE

Ability to independently build and operate SDI and Web-GIS applications

Excellent geospatial processing skills (especially towards Shape-, DWG/DXF-, GeoJSON-Files, etc.)

Very good knowledge of GIS software (in particular QGIS, ArcGIS or GRASS GIS)

Database and SQL knowledge (ideally PostgreSQL + PostGIS)

Knowledge of modelling using UML

Experience with VCS (e.g. GIT) desirable

Experience in team-based software development is also desirable

Interest in UI and UX design

Analytical thinking skills and independent working methods

Good team and communication skills
