    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

    The Program Manager, Prevailing Wage is responsible for ensuring the accurate requirements of each prevailing wage contract is captured and dispersed throughout our organization. The Program Manager, Prevailing Wage works closely with the Human Resources Department, who will file the respective certified payroll reports for the North American subsidiary and with the Service Department, who will provide necessary data for auditing purposes. Duties include research on government funding, IRA, Prevailing Wage requirements for multiple states, compliance, and reporting.

    PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Analyzes, prepares, and inputs Country, State &/or Federal requirements as it applies to Prevailing Wage into our database(s).
    • Produce accurate and timely KPIs.
    • Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
    • Creates per project portals and learns what PW requirements are required (Apprentices, Certified Payroll Report frequency, etc.)
    • Maintains current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
    • In coordination with Payroll, continually researches Prevailing Wage requirements for project sites.
    • Contacts Union Halls to confirm requirements for apprentices to be on site at time of Commissioning (if required).
    • Responsible for maintaining the project file from time of Sales quote to Commissioning of site (could be about 2 years cycle); ADP Upload Database
    • Audits PW orders, contracts, service providers, invoices. Carries it through for accurate billing and payroll.
    • Successfully transfers required prevailing wage information to payroll for processing.
    • Provides SMA customers with required Prevailing Wage compliance reporting.
    • Maintains all relevant prevailing wage documentation in compliance with laws.
    • Other duties as may be required or assigned.
    REQUIRED TRAINING (TYPE / DURATION / FIELD / ADDITIONAL TRAINING)
    • Prevailing Wage knowledge/certifications is preferred. A bachelor's degree in business or an equivalent area of specialty is preferred.
    REQUIRED RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (TYPE / DURATION)
    • At least 3- 5 years of experience in order/contract processing are required.
    OTHER SPECIALIZED SKILLS
    • Knowledge of employment DIR/Union/Prevailing Wage laws and their applications is required.
    • Knowledge of Federal and State Prevailing Wage Law, including Davis Bacon.
    • Demonstrates attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
    • Experience working in SAP, Salesforce, and
    • Strong initiative and good judgement
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, is required. German and/or Spanish language skills are a plus.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is strongly preferred.
    • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality in a variety of situations.
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple program requirements.
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • This position may require periodic domestic and international travel.
    The compensation range for this position is $82,000-104,000 per year.
