Highlights/Benefits for Director, Surgical Services (RN)

The Director, Surgical Services (RN) will manage the strategic direction of the Surgical Services Department (Operating Rooms, Same Day Surgery, Pre-Admission, PACU, and Central Sterile)

Will manage a team of 105+ FTE's and report directly to a dynamic and collaborative Chief Nursing Officer

Well supported by a team of Nurse Managers and a Department Educator

Qualifications & Requirements for Director, Surgical Services (RN)

Master's degree required (must have Master's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing)

RN Active License State of Maryland

CNOR is a plus

Minimum two (2) years of progressive surgical services/operating room leadership experience at Manager level or above in an inpatient surgical services/operating room setting

Minimum five (5) years of Operating Room nursing experience is required

Transformational and inspirational leadership style

Should be able to identify growth opportunities, recruitment and retention strategies, build collaborative relationships with surgeons, and ensure the highest level of patient safety and quality
