    ETC, a global leader in entertainment and architectural lighting, currently has an opening for a Software Engineer in the R&D Live Event Controls department


    We are seeking engineers that love to code and have a passion for production-grade, world-class software that solves the real-world challenges that push the envelope of what's possible in live production.

    Our flagship console line, the Hog Family, can be found in concert venues, film studios, houses of worship, and touring-shows of all levels.


    As a Software Engineer, you'll work on the Hog Family software platform, writing C++ software and using the Qt cross-platform application framework.

    The Hog Family of consoles runs on both the Windows and Linux operating systems


    The Hog software brings an exciting opportunity to work on an exciting codebase, with the ability to see and watch your software in action at entertainment venues around the world.

    Our engineers partner closely with the product management team to shape the future of entertainment lighting.     Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, strong proficiency with C++, proficiency with concurrency/multi-threaded application programming, and experience in GUI development.

    Experience with Qt and/or a background in entertainment is a plus. We will consider all levels of experience.
