As Assistant Director of Graduate Clinical Psychology Department at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa CA you are responsible for managing logistics and operations of graduate program assisting Director Associate Director faculty while shaping educational journey student life for online on-campus students.
Responsibilities
- Hires Student Workers Teacher Assistants Supervises trains manages work direction for Student Workers Volunteer Student Representatives Teacher Assistants
- Assists in organization coordination implementation of Practicum Site Fairs Participates in monthly Directors meetings reviews student appeals petitions behavioral issues Assists with Faculty Searches serves on Faculty Search Committees Monitors Students probational statuses sets up student meetings with Director as required Organizes coordinates logistical details calendars room equipment reservation supplies agenda creation minute taking etc for department courses meetings events Assists in gathering program statistics data coordinating running department surveys compiling data Assists in creation of course schedules Collects submits course book adoptions from faculty Assists faculty with administrative tasks paperwork processing grade changes academic exceptions Maintains records of student registration data administrative purposes Manages up-to-date student lists contact details confidential files Helps faculty with Canvas email self-service IT help Recommends assists in implementation updates to program catalogs handbooks academic policies Stays informed about licensing requirements new laws relevant to program Professional Clinical Counselor licensure LPCC Marriage Family Therapist licensure LMFT ensures compliance guide students appropriately Contributes ongoing improvement program quality line institutional goals standards
