Job Description

A technology research company focused on early cancer detection is looking for an Equipment Technician III to join the Engineering Operations team. This role involves supporting equipment lifecycle activities, such as installations, maintenance, repairs, and improvements. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who follows standards and guidelines. The company is rapidly scaling its testing volumes and needs a dynamic technician to help deliver their innovative test to more people.

This is a contract onsite position in Menlo Park, CA, with hours from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Possibility of working on holidays or overtime.
Flexibility in working hours for training and events.

Responsibilities:

Complete technical assignments that require judgment in troubleshooting and making recommendations.
Execute and document equipment lifecycle activities such as installations, maintenance, and calibrations.
Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and documentation.
Research and communicate findings to management.
Perform asset inventories, inspections, and audits.
Support service provider visits, investigations, and software assessments.
Respond to support tickets and environmental alerts promptly.
Update controlled documentation as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with asset management and Laboratory Information Management Systems.
Knowledge of Manufacturing Management Systems, scheduling software, or CRM software.
Experience in equipment calibrations.
Ability to carry out tasks independently and under supervision.

Physical Demands & Working Environment:

Requires standing, sitting, walking, and wearing safety gear.
Work with hazardous materials and cold storage elements.
Ability to lift and move different weights.
Occasional travel may be required.
