    Today's HR is one of the largest, independently owned, Human Resources Consulting, Outsourcing and PEO firms in California. For more than thirty years, we have assisted employers with the complex and high end functions relating to their Human Resources.

    Working under the direction of our Retirement and Compliance Manager, the Retirement & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for providing high-quality day-to-day retirement administration for the Company's MEP retirement plans and client level plans. The Coordinator will work closely and assist the Retirement & Compliance Manager to ensure accurate and timely setup of client retirement plans.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Explains retirement benefit plan policies, procedures, and legal requirements to clients, employees, and beneficiaries.
    • Assists in completing mid-year and year-end testing for Clients.
    • Communicates testing results to clients.
    • Assists in outreach to clients who are not on a retirement plan and coordinates enrollment onto a retirement plan.
    • Auditing of iSolved retirement plan set up.
    • Conducts group benefits presentations for and/or individual interviews with employees regarding retirement and pension options.
    • Acquires and distributes relevant information and documentation to plan participants and beneficiaries.
    • Develops and maintains records of participants and beneficiaries including active, deferred, retired, and separated members.
    • Serves as a liaison between beneficiaries and participants and the plan administrator, handling or facilitating requests for contribution adjustments, refunds, and other administrative changes.
    • Conducts and researches monthly retirement reconciliation.
    • Ensures retirement plans are administered in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
    • Maintains knowledge of legal and regulatory changes, trends, and other developments affecting retirement benefits.
    • Daily submission of retirement files to carriers.
    • Assists with ACA compliance.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Competencies:

    • Associate degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • 2-4 years of retirement-related experience.
    • A good working knowledge of federal and state regulations applicable to retirement plans.
    • Amazing customer service expertise.
    • Excellent excel and analytical skills.
    • A collaborator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Self-starter, work wells with moderate supervision
    • Knowledgeable with various group health and retirement benefit plans, including MEP 401k and 403B plans.
    • Ability to travel with little notice.
    • Bi-Lingual a plus
