    Focus Staff is looking for a travel Mammography Technologist for a position in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

    We have a client in Lawrenceville, GA seeking a Mammography Tech (Traveling Mammography Tech).

    Focus Staff is in need of a Certified Mammography Tech who can conduct mammography procedures on patients in various healthcare settings as requested by a provider. The Mammography Technologist carries out mammography procedures efficiently and in line with established protocols for disease diagnosis.

    Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Temporary)
    Shift: 5 days x 8 hours

    Requirements:

    • Driven individuals aspiring for career advancement
    • Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers (AHA)
    • BSN from an accredited nursing program and valid licensure
    • Excellent communication skills with colleagues, doctors, patients, and families

    Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Tech

    Responsibilities:

    • Communicating effectively with patients using AIDET principles to understand service requirements, ensure accurate exams, and establish rapport
    • Providing clear instructions to patients and their families, and assessing their ability to undergo the procedure
    • Preparing patients and equipment for mammography, following safety protocols and maintaining hygiene standards
    • Collaborating with engineers and physicists to ensure equipment functionality
    • Documenting and maintaining all necessary records and documentation
