The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Urology, in Hershey, PA is seeking a Human Research Technologist - Health and Medicine.
The Department of Urology is seeking a Human Research Technologist to support our growing portfolio of clinical research studies (industry and internally funded).
The Human Research Technologist will have regular interactions with study investigators at the Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center Campus and Penn State College of Medicine.
Research topics range from urologic cancer treatments, surgical outcomes, patient quality of life, and kidney stone treatment/prevention.Responsibilities include:
Familiarity with clinical trials, IRB protocols, remote data capture (e.g., REDCap, Qualtrics), and database management preferred.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and excellent communication skills are essential for frequent interaction with research participants, investigators and staff at multiple locations.
Bachelor's degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required.This is a limited-term appointment funded one year from date of hire; approx. June thru May.
Typical Education & Experience:
2+ years related experience
Associate's Degree or higher; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
(Medical School enrollee or graduate preferred)
