Our client, a nationally prevalent consultancy needs an experienced individual to join their vibrant office in Manchester.Working on a variety of projects across the world, this role offers the right candidate fantastic opportunities to develop their career.
The successful candidate will have worked as an acoustic consultant and will possess strong post-qualification experience preferably within the built environment field.
QualificationDegree or post-graduate qualification in an acoustics-related discipline
Experience
Membership of the Institute of Acoustics
Extensive and detailed understanding of Building Acoustics
Minimum of 2 years consultancy experience preferably within design stage of projects
Be self-motivated, able to learn quickly, and work independently to deadlines.
Be able to write fluent and intelligible reports and designs, placing a high emphasis on accuracy and consistency.
Good communication and client liaison skills
Duties
Input on architectural, MEP, and structural design
Oversee and run acoustic modeling programmers
Liaise with consultants, engineers, and architects
Project management
Writing high-quality reports
Undertaking acoustic assessments by Building Regulations, Building Bulletins, and British and International Standards.
Assisting in business development.
