- Role: Special Education Teacher
- Hours: Very part-time, 6.5 hours per week
- Grade Level: 9th Grade
- Student Profile: Deaf-blind student requiring compensatory services
- Provide specialized instruction and support to the 9th-grade student with deaf-blindness
- Develop and implement compensatory services tailored to the student's unique needs and goals
- Collaborate with the student's IEP team, including parents, guardians, and related service providers
- Monitor the student's progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders to ensure continuity of support
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- Texas teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with students with deaf-blindness or multiple disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of compensatory services and strategies for students with sensory impairments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
