    Business Overview:

    The G10 Rates business offers a comprehensive suite of interest rate products to address the full spectrum of our client's needs from financing and market access to yield enhancement and hedging. Acting as primary dealer and market maker in all key markets, we offer liquidity in primary and secondary markets in government bonds, interest rate derivatives, inflation products, structured products and repo.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide daily sales coverage for Global G10 Rates products to large institutional clients but specifically focused on Asset Managers and other Real Money accounts based in the West Coast of the USA.
    • Provide support via execution, content delivery and client service to the Managing Director James H Davis in the BNPP SanFrancisco local office.
    • Allocate the firms resources in the most efficient and effective way in order to help G10 Rates maximize the return on said resources
    • Market BNP Strengths & Capabilities as well as products to clients via commentary & direct communication in order to help Developed markets maximize opportunities presented
    • Work within the framework of proper risk management and financial control adhering to the strictest regulatory and internal protocols
    • Work within team environment for collaboration, support & ultimate success of team
    • Participate in all facets of moving BNPP Global Markets Americas forward in all of its strategic initiatives

    Minimum Required Qualifications:

    • Fluent English speaker
    • Familiarity with Developed Markets Interest Rate Products including trade execution
    • Prior experience in a sales role covering Asset Manager clients

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Masters or advanced degree preferred

    FINRA Registrations Required:

    • Series 7 & 63

    CFTC Swap Dealer Associated Person (if yes, NFA Swaps Proficiency Program is required):

    • Yes

    SEC Security-Based Swap Dealer Associated Person:

    • Yes

    The expected starting salary range for this position is between $150,000 to $200,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
