The starting salary for this position ranges from $16.50 to $18.00/hour.
This position will be from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 3:30 PM - 8:00 PM.
Position Summary:
The Waitperson is responsible for the set-up, delivery and clean-up of the meal period for which he/she is responsible. The Waitperson is also responsible for providing service in a friendly and congenial manner.
Eskaton Granite Bay is a serenesenior living community consisting of 66 assisted living units and 32 independent living units. Our pet-friendly community provides residents with the security of a worry-free lifestyle and the activities and amenities to remain engaged. Eskaton's dietary department offers desirable shifts on a regular weekly schedule, and our teams work together to prepare and serve gourmet meals for our residents in a collaborative, welcoming and positive environment. Our dietary staff also get to enjoy their evenings as shifts are finished by 8:00 PM.
Qualifications
Education:
High school graduation or equivalent G.E.D., preferred.
Training and Experience:
Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service establishment preferred. California Food Handler.
Job Knowledge:
Understanding of the philosophy of quality customer service and satisfaction.
The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, COVID test, TB screen test and health screen.
