- PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Place orders to acquire requisitioned items and services, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Resolve order issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with department managers to clarify requisitions and identify needs for future orders.
- Follow up on delayed supplies, offer alternatives, and obtain purchase authorization.
- Work with accounts payable and vendors to resolve invoice errors promptly.
- Analyze quotes, select best-value suppliers, and negotiate terms effectively.
- Assist in maintaining database accuracy.
- Perform additional assigned duties.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum three years' experience
- Frequent physical activities including lifting, carrying, sitting, standing, and keyboard use. Occasional bending, lifting heavier objects, and climbing.
