Sr. Architect and Application Developer - Quincy, United States - Kyyba

    Kyyba
    Default job background
    Description
    Job Overview
The Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) is seeking to hire a motivated IT
Senior Architect and Application Developer to join its Medicaid Systems Development (MSD) team
supporting the many MassHealth Applications. MassHealth (MH) is the EOHHS office that administers the
Medicaid program and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) in Massachusetts. MassHealth
applications provide critical support for access to health care for some of Massachusetts' most vulnerable
individuals. This role will serve the needs of MassHealth and its Health Safety Net (HSN) program.

Health Safety Net helps pay for certain medically necessary services provided to qualified low-income patients at
Massachusetts community health centers (CHCs) and acute care hospitals. HSN also pays CHCs and acute care
hospitals for medical hardship expenses (when qualifying medical expenses exceed a specified percentage of a
family's income), and for some types of bad debt. The HSN program serves a vital role in supporting both the
qualified uninsured and underinsured Massachusetts residents of the Commonwealth.
The Sr. Architect and Application Developer's primary role is to support HSN in their many business
processes which may require documenting these end-to-end processes, possibly redesign, re-solutioning, and\or
requiring new development as part of their migration to the AWS cloud. This migration will require the Senior
Architect to work in conjunction with the Shared Applications Architect and Release Management teams.
MassHealth and HSN is looking for motivated individuals that seek-out public service as an opportunity to
expand their knowledge, gain valuable experience, and give back to the community. This position is anticipated
to be a long-term engagement and is currently a hybrid remote position with the candidate able to come into the
    Quincy MA office when requested.
