Responsibilities:
We are the designated stroke hospital with a TPA administration within 45 minutes of arrival. With a 30 Bed Med/Surg unit we have an average daily census of 30 patients. The Pottstown Med/Surg unit has 2 floors to support our adult to geriatric patients. A wide variety of patients from Cardiac Comorbities, DVT, Sepsis, Pneumonia and Post Op Care.


Qualifications:
Education Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing


Experience:
Experience in Med/Surg preferred.

New Graduate Nurses Encouraged


Certification and Licensure:
PA Registered Nurse License

BLS Preferred (Will train during orientation)

ACLS Preferred (Will train during orientation)

CPI Preferred (Will train during orientation)


Required Skills:
Excellent Communications Skills

Excellent Interpersonal Skills
