    Responsibilities:
    • Perform regular preventive maintenance on various heavy equipment including forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, cranes, and loaders
    • Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve potential equipment issues before they become major problems
    • Maintain detailed records of performed maintenance and repairs for future reference
    • Collaborate with equipment operators and other technicians to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions in a timely manner
    • Disassemble and reassemble equipment components, such as engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems, for repairs or replacements
    • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during maintenance and repair procedures
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in equipment maintenance techniques through training sessions

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
    • Proven experience as an equipment maintenance technician in the construction industry
    • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operations and maintenance
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently
    • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools
    • Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to equipment maintenance
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Valid driver's license
