    Overview

    1st SHIFT MONDAY-THURSDAY 10 HOUR SHIFT - 5:00 A.M. TO 3:00 P.M.)

    INSURANCE AVAILABLE ON 61ST DAY.

    This position is responsible for assembly of larges valveS.

    This includes but is not limited to assembly of parts, subassemblies & components, testing, loading/ unloading, and palletizing finished product.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities of the successful candidate include but are not limited too:


    • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
    • Positions parts and components by using work instructions.
    • Verifies specifications by testing product and visually inspecting quality.
    • Assembles products using hand tools and other equipment.
    • Resolves verifiable assembly problems to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources if needed.
    • Palletizes and gets product ready for shipment, once complete.
    • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
    • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
    • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing production requirements as needed.
    Qualifications

    Qualifications include but are not limited too:

    • Lifting/carrying of less than 50 pounds.
    • Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, reaching & twisting up to 90 times per hour.
    • Standing greater than 6 hours per day.
    • Ability to move neck forward/back & turn right/left, kneel, squat, & climb using arms and legs.
    • Repetitive use of both hands & fingers to grasp, exert force, wear gloves, write & utilize tools.
    • Frequent work in extreme temperature conditions including but not limited to working on slippery, uneven, unstable surfaces in high humidity.
    • Ability to work with solvents & chemicals, operate a crane, truck, forklift & other moving vehicles.
    • Manufacturing experience & working around machinery considered.
    • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including but not limited to earplugs, safety glasses, metatarsal & guarded boots are required.
