- Create and/or optimize manufacturing automation, advanced manufacturing processes, improvement of processes and equipment/automation, innovation and new product launches (with accountability to insure DFA/DFM and assembly robustness in all phases.)
- Partner with strategy leaders to develop and drive execution of product technology roadmaps to position EPC for sustained future growth.
- Provide functional expertise and direction to product strategy, engineering, operations and quality leadership.
- Manage process flows from inception to phase out, including product launch and support; and resolves problems with existing products working across cross-functional production teams
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of seven (7) years experience in manufacturing
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in automation
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future
- No relocation is being offered for this position. Only candidates that reside within a 50 mile radius of Southfield, MI; Marshall, MI or Carol Stream, IL will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Master's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution

ENGEaton's IS VEH Power Connections division is currently seeking a Advanced Manufacturing Engineer-Automation. This position is a hybrid opportunity that can be based out of our Southfield, MI; Marshall, MI or Carol Stream, IL facilitiy.
The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer -Automation will report directly to the Advanced Manufacturing Leader and is responsible for the execution of the "best-in-class" production processes and throughput. This lead role will support the Product Strategy leader in our Connector and Terminal Product Line.
Our team is collaborating with companies to innovate the transportation technologies of the future, creating efficient vehicles that travel faster, farther, higher, and safer at a lower overall cost to the consumer and the environment
