    Position Details:


    Graduate Nurse Sign On Bonus $2,500Experienced Nurse Sign On Bonus $10,000ICU RN36 hours per week, DaysMercy Hospital JeffersonFestus, MO 63028We are a fast-paced, high-energy 20 bed floor comprised of a 12 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 8 bed Transitional Care Unit (TCU).

    We function as one team with amazing teamwork to provided top quality care to our patients. We are a team of dedicated co-workers that work together to ensure patients receive the lifesaving care they need.
    We are a medical surgical ICU that sees a wide variety of patients and diagnosis. This diverse nature provides a lot of educational moments for coworkers.

    The TCU provides care to acutely ill patients that are not quite to the point of needing ICU or just removed from ICU status.

    The TCU is very fast paced and requires good critical thinking skills, which allows for a great learning environment for new nurses to our team.

    Qualifications:

    Education:
    Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

    Licensure:

    Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.


    Certifications:

    • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
