- Perform full cycle accounting duties, ensuring the accurate recording of daily financial transactions
- Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations, with a particular focus on bank reconciliations, to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statement balances
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax compliance and reporting, including sales, gross receipts, income, franchise, withholding, and property tax
- Ensure proper accounting for taxes in the financial statements and perform monthly reconciliations of tax accounts to confirm accurate remittance
- Assist with tax audits by preparing necessary workpapers, reconciling tax return amounts to financial statements, providing required documentation, and addressing inquiries as needed
- Serve as the point of contact with external certified public accounting firm to facilitate tax compliance and support audit

- Actively participate in the development and implementation of accounting and compliance policies, internal controls, and operational strategies, including the evaluation and deployment of process and system enhancements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on full cycle accounting, tax reporting, and compliance
- General familiarity with accounting principles, tax concepts, and internal controls
- Comfortable with accounting software, tax research and preparation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong background in Excel, including familiarity with Sumifs, vlookup, andindex match formulas
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining accounting and tax matters to a non-specialist audience in a clear and concise manner
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and timely execution of tasks
- Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm with the ability to deliver high level of customer service
- $27.00 per hour
