Are you a friendly, organized, and energetic individual who loves making a great first impression? Pedernales Cellars, a family-owned, boutique winery in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, is looking for a Tasting Room Host to be the welcoming face of our winery.

Key Responsibilities

As a Tasting Room Host, you will:

• Be the first and last impression: Greet all guests with a warm welcome and a genuine smile, making them feel at home.
• Direct and guide visitors: Help guests navigate our winery, answering their questions and ensuring they get to the right place for their tasting or tour.
• Manage reservations and sales: Confidently use our reservation booking system to check in guests and process sales through our point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Be a crucial part of the team: Assist our Tasting Room Associates with behind-the-scenes duties, ensuring the entire operation runs smoothly.
• Provide excellent customer service: Focus on creating positive and friendly interactions that set the tone for a fantastic visit.
• Tasting room support: Bussing tables, polishing and stocking glassware, assembling and presenting cheese boards to quality standards, and maintaining overall cleanliness of service areas.

• Availability: You must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday, with the possibility of additional event days.

Physical Requirements: Must be 18 years or older (21+ is preferred). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work both indoors and outdoors all year.
