    About This Role


    Our scrum team is looking for a passionate, empathetic and data-oriented Senior Product Manager to join us on our mission to further grow and delight Fandom's diverse community of creators.

    This position is flexible on location and fully supports remote work, but requires close collaboration with teams located in the CET time zone.

    You will focus on improving engagement and retention among the most dedicated entertainment experts on the planet.

    This includes empowering them to create more and better content on topics that gaming, movie and TV fans are looking for, reducing friction in their daily workflows and building a path for today's first-time contributors to become the power editors of tomorrow.


    Alongside your engineering, design, data, UX research, marketing and community outreach partners, you will be responsible for defining short- and long-term roadmaps in accordance with company-wide goals and in service to our creators' needs.

    You will also prioritize and rigorously test features and guide your team through launching the most impactful upgrades to our wiki platform and creator experience.

    You Will...

    Use A/B testing, UX research, and other data, both quantitative and qualitative, to inform product decisions and prioritization
    Create product requirements and functional specifications to guide product development
    Be in close touch with our wiki communities and creators to stay abreast of their needs and sentiment while keeping Fandom's overall business goals in mind
    Work with community management partners to keep our creators in the loop about product launches
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product designers, analysts, UX researchers and business stakeholders
    Participate as product owner in regular scrum ceremonies and manage the team's backlog
    Create agreement for the product roadmap both with internal partners and the creator community
    Work with engineering teams to reliably provide high-quality products and features
    Own the team's progress towards yearly goals by defining, measuring and reporting on success and guardrail metrics
    Report results to leadership and celebrate your team's achievements

    You Have...

    A passion about the entertainment space and are a fan yourself
    3-5+ years total experience with 1+ years of product management experience on user-generated content products
    Balanced the needs of content creators, consumers and internal stakeholders alike
    Built engaging user experiences informed by data from multiple sources
    Run A/B tests, conducted analysis, and based decisions on resulting insights
    Experience guiding a scrum team through product development and launches
    No problem absorbing technical concepts and communicating them to a non-technical audience
    Empathy, curiosity and excellent communication skills
    The ability to adapt to a changing environment, ask questions and seek help when you are stuck
