**Job Summary:**
SR is seeking a responsible delivery driver to distribute tools/equipment/supplies to job sites. You will represent our company in a professional and cost effective manner.
**Responsibilities**
Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
Follow route and a schedule.
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle.
Assist in receiving stock and nonstock items for the purpose of ensuring that specifications, quantity and the quality of orders are correct.
Clean warehouse for the purpose of maintaining a safe and sanitary work area.
Maintain delivery vehicles (e.g. checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe operations of vehicle.
Perform all functions within the scope of the warehouse for the purpose of maintaining warehousing operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
**Job Requirements**
**Skills** are required to perform multiple tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: adhering to safety practices and operating equipment used in warehouse operations.
**Knowledge** is required to perform basic math, understand written procedures and speak clearly. Must understand multi-step written and oral instructions. Specific knowledge-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: basic vehicle maintenance and safety practices and procedures.
**Ability** is required to schedule activities and use basic job-related equipment. Flexibility is required to work schedules, set priorities, work in inclement weather and maintain physical stamina.
**Responsibility**
Responsibilities include: working under direct supervision using standardized procedures, providing information and/or advising others and operating with a defined budget. Utilization of some resources from other work units may be required to perform job functions.
**Working Environment**
The following physical demands are required: significant lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling. The job is performed under some extreme temperatures.
