Position: Backend JavaScript Developer

Location: Odessa, FL - Hybrid Office Schedule - Remote

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the development team to design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services, APIs, and microservices using

Take ownership of the architecture and scalability of backend systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Build RESTful APIs and implement API integrations to support various frontend applications, mobile apps, and third-party services.

Design and implement data models and databases to support the efficient storage and retrieval of application data.

Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend components.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.

Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of backend systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in backend development and cloud technologies.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and server-side development using

Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining APIs and microservices for scalable applications.

Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling concepts.

Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and experience with API integration.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Frontend development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks) is a strong plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
