    Full Time 7pm - 7:30am /72 Hours per Pay

    The MICU Paramedic functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence.

    The MICU paramedic provides advanced emergency/critical care in conjunction with a CareFlight Nurse during transport and may also provide patient care for patients in Miami Valley Hospital and any Premier Health facility where a Mobile Intensive Care Unit is based.

    The CareFlight MICU paramedic works with all populations of patients. This position also includes public relations and medical education functions.

    Education:
    High School completion / GED; Certified as a Paramedic in the State of Ohio


    Licensure/Certification/Registration:
    Paramedic in the State of Ohio

    The following certifications are required at the time of hire:

    BLS, ACLS and PALS

    The following certifications are required within the specified time frame following hire:
    90 Days- ITLS or PHTLS

    1 Year - NRP, ATLS (audit)

    2 Years - CAMTS approved professional certification

    Experience:
    Minimum 3 years of full time Paramedic experience required. Preferred to have recent full-time active experience with 911 Emergency Service Agency or MICU Transport Company
