Brushy Creek Post Acute is a gorgeous skilled nursing facility conveniently located next to the hospital in Greer S C This unique property has cottages that each hold patients Each has its own kitchen and there are gardens and patios for residents and employees to enjoy fresh air We offer reliable shifts Successful candidates will have an associate degree certification to practice in South Carolina experience in a long-term care setting is helpful ability to use or quickly learn Point Click Care General Purpose The Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant assists the Staff Occupational Therapist with patient related activities and direct patient care Essential Duties Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist Record daily treatment notes weekly progress notes per OT Board Treat patients per the physician treatment plan Assist nursing department with training of Restorative Aides Communicate with supervisor other health team members regarding patient progress problem plans Participate in in-services training program for other staff in the facility Record evaluations daily treatment notes weekly progress notes recertification documentation per Occupational Therapy Board State Practice Act governmental third-party payer requirements Record treatment changes policy procedures Instruct patents families or nursing staff maintenance program caregiver training preparation discharge therapy services Participate discharge planning Assist cleaning maintenance treatment area Report problems department equipment maintained good working order Ability relate positively effectively appropriately patents/residents families staff professional colleagues Qualification Education Experience Licensed Staff Occupational Therapy Assistant Board State Proficient computer skills inputting data programs Casamba Point Click Care Certificates Licenses Registrations Licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant state Employee meet continue education requirements state practices Maintain license good standing time state board
