TotalMed Staffing Locums is seeking a Physician Assistant Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a locum tenens job in San Francisco, California.
Job Description & Requirements
Reason for coverage: Maternity Leave Dates of Coverage: Ongoing Practice Description:
• Setting: OR and Hospital Floor Coverage
• Daily Responsibilities: Pulling Epicardial Wires, Chest Tubes, Vein Harvesting and MUST be proficient in EVH and First Assist. Endoscopic radial artery harvest experience HIGHLY preferred
• Shifts/Schedule Expectations: Monday – Friday but would prefer someone that is open to rotating weekends with days off during week
• Call Schedule/Responsibilities: No Call
• PPD/Census: Estimated : Up to 4 Open Cases per day plus emergencies which typically the call person would be doing. Not expecting locums to take call
• Number of Providers Per Shift & Support Staff: 7 CV Surgeons, 8 Cardiovascular PA's
• EMR: EPIC (Health Connect – Kaiser Permanente's version of EPIC)
