PT High School Choir Teacher

Grades 9-10. Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.

Candidates should have a minimum of two years' experience, preferably in a formal high school setting teaching choir.

Candidates must demonstrate an enduring love of youth, a love of teaching and learning, and a desire to work in a faith-based atmosphere that is aligned with values taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Candidates should be able to help students learn:

• healthy vocal technique
• sight singing
• performance skills
• varied choral repertoire

A teaching demonstration will be required of top candidates.

Candidates should be professional in appearance and demeanor. They should be willing to uphold and serve as ambassadors for the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off-campus.

Position is available beginning in the school year.
