    Requirements:
    You must Have:
    • CPR First Aid.
    • TB test.
    • Blood Borne Pathogens.
    • ChildCare Basics 30 hour Certification.
    • Food handlers Card.
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • AA in Early Childhood Education/ or Equivalent.

    Hours of care are 8am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.

    You will be responsible for the following:
    • Supervising and Monitoring: Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. Keep a watchful eye on children to prevent accidents or any harmful behavior. Monitor their activities and interactions to ensure a positive and inclusive environment.
    • Assisting with Daily Routines: Help children with daily routines such as dressing, eating, toileting, and napping. Encourage independence and age-appropriate self-help skills.
    • Planning and Implementing Activities: Develop and organize age-appropriate activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, storytelling, music, and physical exercises. Foster creativity, cognitive development, social skills, and physical coordination through structured and unstructured play.
    • Creating and Maintaining a Clean Environment: Ensure that the daycare facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained. Regularly sanitize toys, play areas, and equipment to prevent the spread of germs. Organize and maintain a neat and orderly environment.
    • Communication with Parents/Guardians: Establish and maintain open and positive communication with parents or guardians. Provide daily updates on their child's activities, behaviors, and milestones. Address any concerns or questions and collaborate on promoting each child's development and well-being.
    • Observing and Documenting: Observe and document each child's progress, behavior, and milestones. Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, accidents, and any significant developments. Communicate observations and concerns to supervisors and parents as necessary.
    • Assisting with Mealtime: Help children during meal and snack times. Ensure they receive nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and accommodate any allergies or special dietary needs. Encourage good eating habits and table manners.
    • Providing Emotional Support: Offer emotional support, comfort, and reassurance to children when needed. Foster positive relationships, promote kindness and empathy, and address any behavioral or emotional issues appropriately.
    • Following Health and Safety Guidelines: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including emergency procedures, first aid protocols, and child protection policies. Maintain a secure environment and respond promptly to accidents, injuries, or emergencies.
    • Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and regulations related to child care and early childhood development. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance.
