This role provides independent risk and controls oversight across insurance operations within a temporary project based delivery model The Manager leads complex engagements supports senior stakeholders and ensures consistent execution of insurance audit and control assessment activities in a fast paced environmentResponsibilities
- Lead integrated risk and controls reviews across insurance operations including claims processing reserving payments and insurance data
- Plan and execute internal audits of insurance processes focusing on evaluation of the design operating effectiveness of internal controls testing of control execution approvals reconciliations system access segregation of duties assessment data integrity completeness accuracy within insurance financial reporting processes review assess loss loss adjustment expense LAE reserving processes including governance data flows supporting documentation identify control gaps operational risks process inefficiencies develop practical remediation recommendations coordinate with claims finance actuarial technology teams to validate processes reconciliations assumptions assess end to end control environments reliance on third party outsourced service providers review oversee testing manual automated controls prepare clear documentation findings present results management relevant stakeholders manage engagement scope timelines deliverables stakeholder expectations ensure work quality consistency adherence professional internal audit standards provide guidance review coaching team members remote hybrid environment
