The role of the Certified Pharmacy Technician -Senior reports to the Director of Pharmacy This position under close supervision of a registered pharmacist assists the pharmacist in preparing and distributing medications maintaining the drug inventory and maintaining patient records as assigned within their scope of practice.
Maintain inventory of medication and supply orders including placing orders with vendors Produce purchasing reports and distribute to appropriate personnel Partner with payroll to ensure all information is submitted in a timely manner Manages inventory automated dispensing cabinets Deliver medications nursing stations other patient care areas Refill manage emergency kits Repack medications hospital use Perform medication histories Complete required documentation meet state federal laws
High school diploma GED required Registration Arkansas State Board Pharmacy National Pharmacy Technician Certification CPhT minimum years experience preferred Work Environment This position spend time sitting performing work standard office environment time standing walking pushing pulling lifting carrying lbs.
