- Deliver excellent customer service to Kodak employees while advocating for their full recovery and timely return to work.
- Assist in facilitating appropriate and timely medical care with the goal of returning the employee to their pre-injury or illness state.
- Provide support to employees during absences, while emphasizing Kodak's commitment to keep its employees healthy and active.
- Work with supervisors to assess their ability to accommodate employee restrictions.
- Ongoing medical management of work-related injury and non-work-related medical absences and documentation of case updates, diagnoses, prognosis, and projected return to work goals in the electronic medical record.
- Receipt and review of documentation to support employee absences and ensure compliance with Kodak's policies and state and federal regulations.
- Ongoing and regular communication with employees, medical providers, supervisors, Human Resources, and other members of the occupational health team to ensure that all parties are aligned and informed.
- Work closely with the workers' compensation third party administrator to ensure swift treatment authorizations and appropriate care.
- Collaborate with the workers' compensation third party administrator to determine when an independent medical exam or functional capacity assessment is appropriate.
- Participation in webinars, seminars, etc. to keep abreast of new OSHA regulations and other state or federal laws impacting Kodak's occupational health program and employee absences.
- Perform all job functions in accordance with local, state, and federal laws as well as Kodak's policies. Comply with national case management standards and nursing code of conduct.
- Evaluation of job functions to assess ergonomic improvements and preventative programs.
- Testimony in the event of legal proceedings arising from an employee absence or injury, as needed.
- Participation in Challenging Case meetings which are conducted with the occupational health and HR teams to discuss complicated cases and ensure alignment when developing a resolution plan.
- Participation in Morning Market calls pertaining to workplace injuries, as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing with a Registered Nurse License in NY
- Five or more years clinical nursing experience
- Two or more years of telephonic nurse case management experience, occupational health case management preferred.
- Working knowledge of general workers' compensation, disability, FMLA, and ADA laws
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of internal and external clients and conflict resolution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in operating Microsoft Office suite programs
- Time management and multitasking skills to balance oversight of multiple projects and unique situations arising unexpectedly.
- Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail

Description
Eastman Kodak Company cares about the health and wellbeing of its employees and we are looking for a Nurse Case Manager/RN to assist employees who are out of work on a medical leave to ensure a full recovery and a successful return to work.
The nurse case manager will also work closely with employees to manage chronic health conditions to allow for performance of unrestricted work.
