    Under the direction of the General Manager, this position is responsible for supervising and participating in all warehousing activities for LMC.

    This position is also responsible for overseeing shore facilities and will be our designated Primary Facility Security Officer. This person may be called upon to assist Interlake Logistics Solutions in the acquisition and distribution of supplies.


    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Food Service
    Ordering, shipping, receiving, and maintaining par orders in the warehouse
    Proper rotation of products, performing monthly inventories and monitoring, and reporting damage and waste
    Purchasing Agent
    Coordinate LMC deliveries with the purchasing agent
    Gift Shop
    Shipping, receiving and transfers to the gift shop
    Delivering gift shop supplies to boat
    Marine Shop
    Shipping, receiving, and transfer to the marine shop
    At the request of the Senior Chief Engineer, warehouse personnel will put up ship supplies and deliver them to the boat
    Laundry
    Ship laundry removed and returned as requested
    Responsible for quality of laundered linen and keeping laundry supplied
    Maintenance
    Keep warehouse up to LMC and Health Code standards
    Maintain and care for equipment involved with warehouse operation including warehouse stake truck
    Staff
    Supervise the positions necessary to effectively and efficiently operate the warehouse
    Policies and Procedures
    Abide by all company policies, procedures and regulations
    Attitude
    Must demonstrate a positive and cooperative attitude towards the company, coworkers and their positions
    Maintain courteous attitude with vendors
    Other Duties
    May be requested to serve in other areas when necessary according to staffing needs in those areas
    To be flexible and adaptable to serve in other areas when necessary
    Required Licenses, Documents Education, Abilities and/or Experience
    A TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Card) Card.
    A high school education or equivalent is required.
    The ability to pass a drug test.
    The ability to handle packages of at least 20lbs
    The ability to travel if required.
    Work Schedule
    This description is for a full-time, year round position. You will typically work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, potentially more hours if circumstances require. The workday will begin around 8:00AM and end sometime between 4:00pm and 5:00PM with some flexibility.
