    JUSTIN is currently seeking a Senior Sourcing Analyst who can drive strategic sourcing-related projects related to the packaging of our wine brands (JUSTIN/Landmark/Lewis Cellars).

    In this role, you will be responsible for executing sourcing strategies flawlessly, ensuring cost savings, vendor management, and new vendor/product development and qualification.

    The position reports directly to the Director of Sourcing and is a great opportunity for a proactive, innovative, and detail-oriented professional seeking high visibility and the chance to be a key member of a dynamic department with an impact on the supply chain processes.

    We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

    Job Description Assist in developing the sourcing strategy for Wine Packaging materials such as glass, labels, capsules, corks, and corrugate, among other packaging categoriesAssist in all procurement activities for wine packaging materials, including but not limited to tracking bottling schedules, submitting orders, negotiating pricing, following vendor production schedules, scheduling deliveries, processing invoicesHandle all quality issues related to wine packaging materials, including but not limited to monitoring quality complaints, collecting data, working with suppliers on root cause analysis and corrective actionsDevelop and issue RFPs for all sourcing-related projects including but not limited to procurement, supply chain/logistics, professional services, capital projectsAct as the project manager or team member and lead or assist functional marketing, operations and sourcing teams to drive new product/vendor development from concept to implementationResponsible for meeting annual COGS targets by managing supplier contracts, spend and performanceDevelop, grow and maintain network of qualified suppliers of all primary and secondary packaging materialsConduct financial analyses to achieve the optimum cost/value relationshipUnderstand and monitor key spending trends, cost drivers, market factors, geographic considerations, and strategic importance of critical commodities in order to implement appropriate sourcing strategiesTrack metrics, including external benchmarks, to monitor performance and allow for data-driven decision-makingWork with operations and marketing team to develop and maintain detailed specification documents for all packaging materials which include technical drawings, testing procedures, AQLs, shipping formats, current artworkStay up to date with new packaging innovations/technology and recommend cost saving opportunitiesQualifications +3 years of sourcing experience required, preferably in packagingBS/BA in business, packaging engineering or related fieldKnowledge in packaging a plusKnowledge of printing technology a plusStrong leadership, relationship building and communication skillsStrong analytical thinking is requiredAbility to present information in a clear and concise format to all levels of the organizationExcellent project management skills, especially in cross function team settingsHigh attention to detail is a mustHigh level of proficiency in Excel and Power Point

    Pay Rate:
    $100,000.00 base salary and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation is dependent upon skills and experience.
