- Maintains, monitors, and analyzes financial accounts. Tracks commitments, obligations, and expenditures throughout the budget execution phases.
- Responsible for a wide range of purchasing of goods and services for assigned Section(s) using a bankcard and/or convenience check.
- Receives, reviews, and pays vendor invoices and other fiscal documents to ensure they are authorized in accordance with regulations.
- Serves as point of contact regarding various human resources matters. Prepares position descriptions and other personnel documentation for recruitment, hiring, promotions, and other actions.
- Receives travel authorizations and similar documents for commitment or obligation against authorized funds, both appropriated and reimbursable.
- Reviews documents to ensure they are authorized in accordance with travel regulations and procedures.

For GS-06:
Applicants must meet the following to qualify for the GS-6 level:
One year of specialized experience in or directly related to this position that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position.
