    Endeavor Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Mental Health Specialist to join our vibrant behavioral health community.

    In this pivotal role, you will provide expert mental health support and services to our diverse student population within the Buffalo City School District, fostering an environment where young minds can thrive both emotionally and academically.

    This position is part of a multidisciplinary team providing school-based mental health services to children with serious emotional disturbance and/or at risk of such disturbance and their families.

    The School Mental Health Specialist will offer brief interactions with a student or group of students, linkages with families, assessment, screening, crisis intervention, referral, linkage with community-based programs, on-going individual and family psychotherapy where indicated, consultation, and technical assistance with educational staff.

    Qualified Healthcare Provider as defined by the NYS Mental Hygiene Code (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-P, etc)

    • One year of paid full-time post Master's experience in a child mental health agency (this may be substituted with one year of field practice in an agency specializing in child mental health)
    • A valid NYS Driver License and access to a vehicle to make home and community visits
    • Proficiency in MS Office products
