    We are looking for someone with a professional attitude, a dedication to healthcare, and a responsible approach .

    WE DO REQUIRE 1 SOLID YEAR OF PREVIOUS MEDICAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE

    • Filling in prescriptions/ prior auth for medications
    • Room patients and enter vitals
    • Enter patient history including medications, past medical history, surgeries, etc.
    • Maintain accurate patient records stored in our EHR
    • Check patients out/Charge tickets
    • Faxing and Filing; Perform any other duties assigned
    • Answer multi-line phones and either direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller's needs yourself
    • Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on Physician and PA/NP availability
    • Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and to help them schedule testing for off-site services
    • Provide patients with support and guidance as needed
    • Assist provider with their patient care needs

    Experience with AthenaHealth EMR is recommended.
