    Director of Nursing (DON) Opportunity

    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Director of Nursing to lead our Skilled Nursing Facility team. If you have a passion for making a difference in others' lives, we encourage you to apply.

    About the Role

    The successful candidate will oversee all nursing operations at our facility, Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. This is a full-time, in-person position that requires strong leadership skills and experience in nursing staff development.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and mentor all nursing personnel to ensure high-quality patient care standards
    • Direct budgets and monitor expenditures to maintain fiscal responsibility
    • Mentor and develop nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge

    Requirements

    To be considered for this role, you must have:

    • At least 2 years of experience as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting
    • A clear understanding of procedures and patient care within a Skilled Nursing Facility environment
    • A general understanding of budgeting and financial reporting
    • A valid degree in Nursing; a Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is an asset
