Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: Valid nursing license or equivalent credential in the state of Minnesota
  
• Certifications Requirements: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred; CPR certification
  
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or assisted living settings; experience in charge nurse or supervisory role preferred; demonstrated ability to manage patient care and team coordination
  
• Other Requirements: Ability to work a 3-week rotating schedule; ability to stand and walk for extended periods; strong communication and organizational skills

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care to residents in the assisted living facility, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and progress notes in the EMR system.
  
• Monitor resident conditions, respond to emergencies, and administer medications as prescribed.
  
• Lead and mentor nursing staff, ensuring adherence to policies, protocols, and licensing requirements.
